Mark Johns began his DJ career in 1991, getting his start in San Jose at a local club called F/X. In 1994 Johns partnered with San Jose dj's Rick Preston, DJ M3, and Loren to launch a weekly party called "The Velvet Shop". Beginning in a small San Jose bar, the weekly event grew to bring the worlds finest house and techno music producers and dj's to the Bay Area for over 14 years. Mark continues to play his dynamic and eclectic sets to audiences along the West Coast.
